Use With Rigid & Folding Wheelchairs: Companion is a power assist for manual wheelchair users that is compatible with both rigid and folding wheelchair frames. The folding mount folds with your frame so you don’t need to remove any hardware, but the relatively lightweight (20lbs) unit can be easily disconnected to load into a car while you remain seated in your wheelchair.
Compact & Easy to Handle: Companion's compact design can maneuver in tight places but is also capable of handling outdoor terrain like sidewalks, gravel trails, and some grass surfaces. This is partly due to a new 8” tire with a tread pattern that provides more surface tension and greater surface contact.
